This client requested a paint color consultation for the front entry, hallway, and great room. With a prominent stone fireplace and a significant investment in two-story custom drapery, the wall color needed to bring these defining elements together. The existing wall color had the right depth but the wrong undertone. To keep the space from feeling too stark, I selected a midtone neutral with the same undertone as the stone and the drapery, creating a warm and cohesive result. For the front entry and hallway, I specified a complementary neutral in a lighter shade to create flow and relate to her existing decor. Images provided by client.
